Back in February I posted this image from an apartment that’s now showing up on design blogs everywhere. I’m still loving the simple, clean look of this space.

I still think it’s most difficult to succeed with only the essentials in a space. This is a gorgeous example of such a success.

This workspace has the wonderful mix that comes from placing modern elements inside of traditional space. A nice way to start off the week.

I’ve recently become a big fan of this lamp (in black), and, since my other half is also into it, I should try to figure out where I can source one. Please leave a comment on this post if you can help. Thanks!

I only learned about interior designer Robert Stilin today–I saw a post about him on James Snowden’s blog, The New Victorian Ruralist–but knew immediately I’d found a soulmate and wanted to do this post showing off some of his work. These rooms are so well put together, but still warm; they’re approachable and personable. They’re the kinds of rooms I’d love to spend time in with friends, yet each one is well planned and contains gorgeous materials, textures, furnishings, and art. I’m in awe and inspired!
