This place has minimalist appeal fortified with texture and a touch of deep color, all lifted higher by the ample skylights. Terrific.

Having been called everything from so very French to having the post-industrial charme [sic] of Tribeca — all in the same writeup — the Paris pizza and cocktail joint, Grazie, is a treat for the eye. Reportedly designed by a New York firm (see source link below), the space looks like a great mix of well-planned textures and finishes.

You know me: I’m the guy who’s been railing against the plague of whitewhitewhite interiors almost since day one of my time on this soapbox. But, now and then, there’s an all white space that captures my imagination — and I’m big enough to be able to celebrate that goodness when it appears. Such are these rooms: terrific architectural details and sublime selections of furnishings and fixtures make these great.
