There’re a lot of great house interior design ideas going on in this simple shot, from the sleek, modern chairs, the simple, round tables and the (faux?) hide rugs to the sweet peek at what looks like a terrific outdoor space (does that look like an al fresco bathtub to anyone else?). Plus: great materials–what’s not to love about a concrete floor with character-adding cracks?–and those windows all around the perimeter of the house. I’ve always said there’s nothing better than when simple design is done well. These Eames dining chairs are the epitome of that philosophy–working beautifully in this MCM space as well as in the more GLAMasculine room in my previous post. Having eight of these for my dining table would put just the right polish on my own home.

Great rooms, filled to the brim with stuff–but sweet stuff; the Bauhaus chairs and Tivoli sound system in the first image are lust-worthy. Throw in the trifecta of Eames plywood, Eames lounge (see it peeking out there in the second photo?) and Panton dining chairs–all so nicely done, too. Terrific textures, manly materials, all kinds of goodies.
