From what I can see in this shot, there’s really nothing about this kitchen I dislike and many elements that I think are great: the floor, cabinetry, appliances, table and chairs are all right up my alley. I almost always like a hanging door on a track, so no problem there. I do wonder about stacking items so high you need a ladder to reach them, plus, the space is awfully stark. What do you think?
I was totally captured by this shot of Vito Schnabel and didn’t know why until I really looked at it. Some of the obvious items of interest: the flooring, that chair, the wood-covered wall, the large-scale art piece–all of these work perfectly with my aesthetic. Then I realized: that’s a line of weights along the back wall on the floor. Ding!
