Good morning. What better way to start the day than with stove-top brewed espresso in a perfect modern mug?

Great room interior design ideas can come from anywhere. Take The Iron Horse Hotel, for instance: terrific everything in this hotel room and its entry-slash-bar space. The use of floor tile extending up the wall in the entry is so smart–I can imagine how easy that is to clean, can’t you? And the mix of sleek leather in the office chair, patterned upholstery in the arm chair, and what looks like cowhide on the bed-foot bench makes for great variety–both visually and texturally. I’m not exactly sure if you need to bring your own motorgear, such as the jackets, helmets and boots above, or if they are standard amenities.

We all know I have a thing for luggage, bags and other remnants of a more romanticized travel era, but did you know Pan Am is still in the game of making their iconic travel cases? Not only that, but they’re gearing up for the launch of a new collection — found courtesy of photographer extraordinare, and the man who shot these images, Nathan Michael. Can’t wait until these hit the runway…
