I’ve always had a strong interest in this kind of juxtaposition: the clean, mid-century pieces in a space full of history. The BroHo feel from the rug and accessories just gives it that extra layer of texture that I love, too.
Great advice today from Abigail Ahern:
Our surroundings effect our moods, our ideas and our wellbeing. They make us feel hopeful, comforted, contented and protected. So today’s message is when decorating (and probably in all facets of life) follow your heart not your head – happiness will follow.

If you’re watching Million Dollar Decorators on Bravo, you may agree with me that the initial episode was more about (manufactured) drama than about design. There was one reveal of a decorator’s work in the show: Martyn Lawrence Bullard’s apartment for Sharon Osbourne. This made me curious to learn more about his work, so I’ve pulled together a handful of images.
