While this new construction home is beautifully designed and has great finishes — and even some furnishings I really really like — it feels cold. Is it because every surface is clear of any personal items?

This seaside showcase near Cabo San Lucas somehow magically manages to incorporate both jewel box-like beauty in the glass-enclosed interiors and modern, sculptural spaces in the exterior and open-air pavilion. I’m enthralled; how wonderful would it be to spend a week lounging there?
